Recently the Shire has been getting dogs roaming the streets, and the majority of them are not
licensed or micro chipped. This will incur heavy fines as well as impounding and feeding costs
if they are in the pound for more than a day. If your dog is not licensed or micro chipped it is
time consuming to advertise missing dogs, and all this is added expense to the owner .
So the cheapest way out
LICENCE AND MICROCHIP YOUR DOGS AND CATS
includes FARM DOGS, WORKING DOGS, ALL DOGS AND CATS
Dogs and cats must be contained on properties, have
proper fences and must be on leads when in Public areas,
Towns, Shops, Parks and Streets
Registration forms are available at the Shire of Victoria Plains
or can be printed off the Shire website
