KidSport
KidSport enables eligible Western Australian children aged 5 to 18 years to participate in community sport by offering them financial assistance of up to $500 per financial year towards club fees.
Who is eligible for KidSport?
All Western Australian children aged 5 to 18 with a valid Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card are eligible for KidSport. Find your nearest club through 'Find a Club' on the Kidsport website.
How does KidSport work?
- All clubs will need to meet the mandatory KidSport eligibility criteria. This could include getting an ABN and becoming incorporated.
- KidSport Voucher Codes - when parents receive an approved code they need to provide this to the club when registering. The Club then validates the code in the system. The code will expire 90 days from when it is approved. Unfortunately, the code can only be sent via email - there is no ability to text this to parents.
- It must be claimed in this time by the club or it will be cancelled and the parent will need to reapply.
- All applicants must have a valid health care card to be eligible. It must list the child's individual client reference number (CRN) and please check it has not expired.
- All applicants to apply for KidSport online via the publicly available website (not at the Shire - the Shire is strictly only involved at a promotional level). Click on the link below and follow the instructions:
