Edmond Street Housing and Caravan Park Development, Calingiri
The Shire of Victoria is planning to support future population growth by delivering fit-for-purpose housing and tourism infrastructure improving the liveability of the region.
The Shire intends to deliver modular style dwellings on Edmond Street over two stages:
- Five homes within the first six months.
- Ten homes by the end of a twelve-month period.
This method of delivery is considered to be the most efficient and cost-effective option to bring housing online in the immediate future.
The Shire will utilise two to four of the homes for staff housing, improving our ability to attract and retain a skilled workforce for the organisation. The remaining six to eight dwellings will be disposed for sale or leased under a commercial arrangement.
